Pottery Workshop at the “Cīrulīšu namiņš” Cultural Barn in Pērkone
We invite work teams, families and groups of friends to enjoy a creative and inspiring break at the family homestead of actress and potter Sigita Jevgļevska-Pļaviņa in Pērkone (Nīca parish).
What’s on offer:
- Pottery workshop: Make your own bowl by hand, which will be fired in “Jāzeps”, a wood-fired kiln used for black pottery. After firing, each participant will receive their unique creation. Participants will also be invited to the kiln opening and the removal of the pottery.
- Local history and heritage: A talk about the homestead’s past and present, included free of charge with every event.
- Additional activities: Enjoy nature and a picnic in the garden, purchase homemade oil and black pottery, or relax by the sea, just 400 metres away.
Capacity: Up to 40 people indoors. Weather permitting, events take place in the garden with no limit on the number of participants.
Seasonal availability: Spring, summer and autumn.

- Groups of up to 25 people: EUR 40 per person
- Groups of more than 25 people: EUR 30 per person
- Local history and heritage talk: free of charge
