The "Soul's Rest Garden," established by the Liepāja Blind Society as a rehabilitation center, features three short nature trails specially designed for the visually impaired and blind individuals: the Barefoot Trail, the Sensory Park, and the Maze.
The Sensory Park offers the opportunity to feel a variety of plants (flowers, herbs, shrubs, etc.) – to touch, taste, smell, and even prune them! The plant beds are raised so that wheelchair users can easily approach them.
In the nearby forest, a 530-meter-long Barefoot Trail has been created, where the surface changes every 10 meters and is alternated with obstacles of varying difficulty.
Additionally, a vibrant maze of ornamental shrubs has been planted, covering an area of 800 m² and currently stretching energetically along the space.
