Everyone has the opportunity to take a pleasant walk to the spring, covering a 1.2 km distance round trip. Lielbātas Spring will surprise everyone with its extraordinary clarity – it is the largest natural clear spring in Latvia and one of the rare ones in Northern Europe, bringing biologically active and properly structured water from the depths of the earth to the surface. It has been attributed with healing properties for centuries. The water temperature of Lielbātas Spring is 6°C year-round, so during winter, in very cold weather, you can see steam rising from the spring. Over time, the flow of the spring's water has even increased in strength, continuing to delight us with its unique natural gift – pure and biologically active water.
