The history of the Gramzda Church began after the order issued by the Duke of Courland in 1567 to build a place of worship. The church has been rebuilt, destroyed, burned, and restored multiple times. In June 1941, at the beginning of World War II, the church was set on fire. However, by the autumn of the same year, the church was already celebrating its rafter dedication. In 1944, near the end of World War II, the church was again destroyed, leaving only ruins. The restoration of the church began in 2009. Now, it has been rebuilt, and the sound of the new church bell once again calls the congregation and visitors to come, sit in silence, and spend a moment with God.
