The Ruins of Bārta Church

The ruins of the Bārta Church are located on the border between the Bārta and Dunikas parishes. The first church in this location was built in 1560. Over time, several churches were constructed, until a brick church was built in 1892 based on the design by the famous Liepāja architect Max Paul Berči. The church building was destroyed in 1945 and has not been rebuilt. When visiting the ruins, safety precautions should be observed!
