The Bērzi Bowl-shaped Stone, also known as the Mazgramzda Bērzi Bowl-shaped Stone, is one of the most easily accessible ritual stones in Latvia. It is located alongside the Priekule–Skoda highway, near the “Bērzi” bus stop. The stone stands within the roadside buffer zone, at the edge of private property, and is publicly accessible.
The stone features a single human-carved bowl-shaped hollow. As the stone was never fully completed, it clearly demonstrates the sequence of its creation: the craftsman first carved the hollow, leaving the shaping and finishing of the outer edges for a later stage.
Such stones are regarded as ancient cult stones, and it is believed that small offerings may once have been placed in the bowl-shaped hollow.
Stone dimensions: length 1.70 m, width 1.45 m, height 1.0 m, circumference 5.00 m.
This hollow stone has been described multiple times in various literary and historical sources.
