In the farm building of Embūte Manor, the Embūte Tourism Information Center and a guesthouse operate. The surrounding area is perfect for nature walks. The Embūte Nature Trail leads through the Embūte Hillfort and Embūte Gorge, with stairs, observation platforms, and a lookout tower built along the trail.

The ruins of Embūte Castle are the remains of a Livonian Order masonry castle and manor (Schloss Amboten). The masonry castle was built in the 13th century, while the manor house of Embūte was constructed in the early 18th century, partly using the old Order castle walls. In 1919, it was looted and burned down.
