The railway station building was opened with the construction of the Liepāja - Vaiųde railway line in 1871. The movement of passenger trains on the line was stopped in 1998.
In the summer of 2024, a canteen opened its doors at the Vaiňode station, where both locals and guests of the parish can enjoy a delicious meal on the spot in the tastefully decorated premises of the station or take it away.
We will provide a feast for your celebration here with us, and we also travel to other places.
A ball pool is available for children's parties and entertainment.
