A renovated country homestead in Pape Nature Park, by Lake Pape and the pastures of wild horses and aurochs. A welcoming place for kayakers and other boaters as well. Those eager to see the sea can reach the Pape lighthouse, located closest to the coast in Latvia, by driving 10 km or taking a 30-minute motorboat trip across the lake. In Pape, you can also visit the historically unique village of Ķoņi, with its small houses covered by reed roofs, and then continue to Nida Bog, where a diversity of habitats can be found, including raised bog, transitional bog and fen vegetation.
