Gaismas Klēts offers a unique and authentic accommodation experience for tourists seeking a true countryside experience and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The barn was built in the 19th century, and we have preserved the authentic rural atmosphere, offering guests an unusual experience – the opportunity to sleep in straw rooms on straw beds while enjoying aromatherapy and a healthy sleep. This type of accommodation is unique in the Latvian context, as this service is not currently offered anywhere else in the country. We also offer hypoallergenic alternatives – sleeping in traditional beds and rooms with carpets.

The accommodations are located by the Bārta River, with nearby access to the sea, offering opportunities for various activities:

• Canoeing on the river and cycling tours
• Sauna and swimming options
• Hiking on nature trails and relaxing at the seaside, which is only a 7-minute drive away
• Grilling, relaxing in hammocks, or reading books
