One of the most beautiful gardens in Nīca and the surrounding area, “Kristapi”, in cooperation with Nīca Cheese, offers a garden tour and a delicious cheese tasting in one place.

Nīca cheese is made from unpasteurized morning-milk cow’s milk, which is processed while still warm. Each wheel of cheese is handcrafted by skilled cheesemakers with great responsibility for quality. The “Kristapi” garden has received significant nominations in Nīca and nationwide competitions for the most beautiful ornamental gardens in Latvia. Particularly impressive is the hosta collection, featuring more than 130 varieties.

The offer includes an extensive garden tour with its owner Inga Skroda and a cheese tasting together with cheese master Dace Vecbaštika. During the tasting, guests can sample a variety of cheeses – fresh, semi-hard, and hard cheeses.

Advance booking is required for the garden visit and tasting.
