Bernāti is a picturesque coastal village in southwestern Latvia, near Liepāja, in Nīca Parish. It is situated on the Baltic Sea coast and is known for its wide sandy beaches, dunes, pine forests, and nature trails. Bernāti is a popular recreational spot, especially in summer and snowy winters, thanks to its peaceful surroundings and natural beauty. The village is also home to “Zaļais Stars”, the westernmost point of Latvia. A 10 km cycling path connects Bernāti to Liepāja.
