Bernāti beach

Bernāti Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Latvia's western coast. Its wide stretch of white sand, fragrant pine forests, and the Bernāti Nature Park create a unique setting for those seeking peace and the refreshing proximity of the Baltic Sea.

Near the beach lies Pūsēnu Hill, the highest coastal dune in Latvia, as well as scenic walking trails that wind through the pine forest to the sea. The coastal landscape is enhanced by a viewing platform with a lounge chair, offering the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea and spectacular sunsets.

Bernāti Beach is also well suited for families and visitors with reduced mobility. A wooden boardwalk provides convenient access to the beach, and during the summer season its extended section allows visitors with strollers or wheelchairs to reach almost all the way to the shoreline. As sea conditions along this stretch of the coast can change quickly, swimmers are advised to exercise caution.
