Fishing from Pāvilosta piers and the coast

Fishing is like a great form of recreation. Escape from everyday life and indulge in the purest excitement and bounty of the sea for hours! The sea is irresistable, it chooses who will get the role. Who has tried it once, is already waiting for the next time! Of course, the most popular fish that fishermen go to the sea to catch are flounder, and the autumn months are the most suitable for it. However, wind fish come to the coast in spring. Usually the most active time for them is in May, but it should be noted that this time is only about 2 weeks. Fishing for these fish requires skill and in the "boom" of wind fish in the sea there are more than 100 boats per day, so the fight to catch fish is great!

Fishing in the Saka River and from piers does not require separate approval in the municipality. Anglers only need a valid fishing card and observe the conservation periods for the respective fish species.
