During an exciting journey through the rich history and nature of Kazdanga Manor Park, explore 196 hectares of the park created in the early 19th century. Here you will find interesting walking paths, cycling routes, wooden sculptures, and a carefully designed system of trails, benches, and bridges that allow you to experience the park from different viewpoints.
Kazdanga Park is one of the largest and dendrologically richest manor parks in Latvia. Nature lovers and fans of active recreation will surely appreciate the 190-meter-long pontoon walkway across Dzirnezers, connecting both banks and forming a 7 km long nature trail – ideal for walks, running, and birdwatching. The observation tower, 2.7 meters above the water level, offers a great opportunity to observe the park’s diverse nature and birdlife. The pontoon walkway is also accessible for wheelchair users.
Historically, the first fish ponds in Latvia (1873) were created in the territory of Kazdanga Manor Park. Overall, the park features many ponds, enhancing its scenic and peaceful atmosphere.
