An exhibition about Lake Durbes has been created in the premises of the Durbes City Administration Building, Skolas Street 3. It was implemented by the lake management association "Public Environmental Administration "DURBE". In two rooms you can see the fishes living in the lake, plant herbariums, a picture of the lake from a bird's eye view, on the inactive screen you can get acquainted with the fishes, plants, and habitats living in the lake. Get to know the history of the formation of lakes, the reasons for their overgrowth. There is information about the history of lake management, protected species of birds and plants. Different fish puzzles, a microscope under which you can study different plants and microorganisms are available for children. Species identifiers are available for fish, mussels, plants, which can be used on the spot, or as banners to take with you to the lake and get to know plant and animal species on the spot by species identifiers.
