Grobiņa town promenade is located in the surroundings of Grobiņa Medieval castle, which is one of the most favourite areas both for the local residents of Grobiņa and its guests. It includes the water reservoir, where You can go fishing and boating, or just spend Your free time enjoying the beauty of nature in different seasons, and relax after walking around the city.

All along the promenade there are plates with the quotations from the works by Zenta Mauriņa and Rainis (famous latvian writers), which makeas walking even more interesting.

Grobiņa promenade includes 10 viewing sites with benches. From the viewing sites you can enjoy the beautiful scenery to Grobiņa hillfort, the water reservoir and the ruins of Medieval Castle. The picturesque recreation area attracts people also on special occasions - weddings, baptizing, and other celebrations
