Wooden sculptures of Indulis and Ārija

Oak sculptures in the form of literary characters so important to Embūte have been installed in the Embūte nature park. Now, every visitor will be welcomed to the nature park by Kurus chieftain Indulis and his beloved, the daughter of a German commander, Āria. Although this was a love story that took place more than 700 years in the distant past, right here in Embute, it has not lost its relevance even today. Part of the thanks goes to Raini, who last century, inspired by the tale of Induli and Arija, created the play, the tragic love story "Indulis and Arija". Sculpture artist: Gatis Selderiņš.
